VALDOSTA, Ga. (WALB) - Counties across Southwest Georgia are prepared for storms.

“Due to the grounds already being saturated, you could see downed trees and wind that can cause power lines to go down. So, we want our citizens to be prepared if we do see winds and trees go down, that the power could go out,” said Barwick.
Storms producing heavy rainfall led to flooding in parts of South Florida, with some areas getting up to six inches of rain Tuesday. Currently, a Flood Advisory.
